Loqiva is delighted to confirm that another two of its partners have renewed their digital town hubs for 3 more years.
The In Purley digital town hub grew out of the South London Partnership InnOvaTe Project, a pilot designed to take in footfall data from IoT sensors and encourage Croydon residents back to their local high street.
Fast forward to 2024, we’re delighted to say that Purley BID now has a digital town hub that has brought huge value to the local business and residential communities. So much so, they want to commit to running the InPurley platform for a further three years.
When asked about the effect that InPurley has had on the local community, Simon Cripps, BID Manager at Purley BID said:
“InPurley has been a fantastic resource for the Purley community in the last three years and has really helped to cement a sense of identity that we’ve been building in the town. What’s also been amazing is just how many new features Loqiva have added to our digital town hub since we first launched, and the ever growing ways it’s able to integrate into all the different things we do as a BID!
At the same time, Wandsworth Town BID has confirmed the renewal of their digital town hub. Launched one year ago, their hub is going from strength to strength, with regular business sign ups and constant downloads from appreciative local residents.
The We Are Wandsworth Town app has promoted over 5,000 local events, encouraging local residents to visit their town centre and support their businesses.
Lauren Furey Marketing and Communications Manager from Wandsworth Town BID said:
“We are delighted with the results after the first year of our digital town hub. As a place management team, we get great insights into what is happening within our town, which allows us to provide meaningful support to our businesses. We’re looking forward to growing the technology within the community over the next three years along with our valued partner Loqiva.”
Loqiva is delighted to receive such warm endorsements from our existing clients. That way we know we’re making a difference, that our digital town hubs are keeping money in local economies, encouraging footfall in town centres and making communities stronger.
