Content & Social Media Executive

We are looking for a content & social media executive who is engaging, organised and is excited to work with us to reimagine the future of town and city centres.

You will be responsible for marketing our company across our social media channels as well as supporting our digital town hub customers with content and local digital engagement strategies.

The role includes:

- finding stories and angles about our technology and industry to share in social media posts
- researching, writing and scheduling content (e.g. local news, events and offers) on our digital town hubs
- coming up with creative content ideas for our company and our customers
- working with analytics to optimise campaigns for best results
- using organic and paid content on social media
- working with our customers and small business owners to showcase best practise and monitor their progress

You will have:

- experience in creating innovative content and engaging campaigns
- worked with multiple social media accounts, content calendars and scheduling software
- excellent English, written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- the capability to be a self-starter and a team-player within a growing tech company
- strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate data to identify and recommend optimisation and growth opportunities
- a good understanding of brand and reputation management
- excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise activities

We require you to:

- have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, English or similar subject
- have 1-2 years relevant experience in a voluntary or paid role
- be resident and eligible to work in the UK
- have a portfolio of past work you can show us
