Big Data Support for Analytics

Posted 12th July 2021 by Marcus Chidgey

We are pleased to announce a major upgrade to the analytics capabilities of Loqiva.

Our goal has always been to provide place managers with the most complete picture of their town through the insights we grow on our platform.

To do this, MongoDB has been added to the platform so that all analytics data is held in one place – in a big data database.

This data is viewable on Loqiva through the maps, graphs and charts we provide, but it has also been structured ready to connect with other applications used by the client organisation.

All of this data is anonymous and is held completely separately to any identifiable user information. It is extremely useful in terms of identifying  trends and monitoring the health of town centres.

We look forward to publishing further details soon.
